Here is the idea. you need to access WhatsApp web on your computer. The app will communicate with your mobile phone every time. So, when your phone is out of battery, the browser will show the notification.

To access web, please visit https://web.whatsapp.com from your computer. A QR code will appear. From your phone, open WhatsApp and select Whatsapp Web from the menu. Scan the QR code displayed on the computer screen. You are done.

Now you can access WhatsApp messages from your computer.
