Don't fall prey to Phissing email for Google. A New Scam phissing attempt is circulating to steal your Gmail Info

I read an article in the internet that a phishing activity is suspected to be made for collecting Google user’s information. This phishing scam is targeted for Google Docs application.

If you are receiving any email hence forth with the subject line containing the word “Documents,” and it directs you to a webpage that looks like a Google Drive sign-in page, it is a phishing email. It’s likely a new phishing scam, in which the person is trying to collect the login credentials using a fake portal same as Google Drive login page.

It is notable that Netflix faced the same issue recently. Hence, ensure that you are not falling prey to the Google information thief. Few precaution steps are:

– Always access the Google account by typing the URL or by searching in Google.
– Never, click any link that claims it is from Google until you have placed a request for any assistance.
– If you have already clicked on a phishing link, change password with immediate effect.
– Any email from Google will address you by your profile name or local part of your email. Any generic email addressed to you is not trust able.
