Canara Bank Net Banking E-Infobook App Review for Android and iPhone

The newly launched Canara bank mobile app e-Infobook acts as handy tool as passbook using canara bank net banking feature. It’s available for both andorid and iPhone device users of canara bank account holders. Canara Bank launched its App for smartphones with the name e-infobook.

However, the blog E-Info Book was launched before Canara bank launched its mobile App. I never thought the names will clash. Due to this effect, I have decided to rename my blog. Finally I launched Appnol in later 2015. However, as a professional tech blogger, I am reviewing Canara bank’s official mobile App E-Infobook.

Canara Bank’ already has an App Canbank for its netbanking via mobile phones and other devices. However, they have launched e-infobook primarily for viewing the online transactions. This App acts as a epassbook. You need to login with the registered mobile number and the password to access e-infobook App. You can view the e-passbook (transactions details), balance inquiry, A/C summary, Cheque Status, ATM/Branch Locator, Info about new products etc on your android set at anytime anywhere.Initially, Canara e-Infobook is a multi lingual App and supports Hindi and English.

This App is also available for NRI account holders. There is a separate App for each language. If I am not wrong, it supports seven languages like Tamil, English, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Bangla, Marathi and Kannada. Even though, Canara e-infobook App is launched, the reviews by the users are not happy with the App. With the millions of its customers, only 1500 people reviewed the App as of June 2014. currently, it holds an average rating of 4.1 in android play store.

You can install the app from google play store for android phones and tablets. For iPhones, install it from apps store or apple store using your itunes account. After installing E-Infobook app on your or iPhone, open the application and complete the registration using the one time password. The OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Now, open menu and start exploring the e-passbook.
